Že nekaj časa je minilo, odkar smo naredili Massive! zabavo v zibelki reggae kulture v prestolnici. Tako je, Massive! se vrača na Dub Lab. Potem, ko smo z Naramom v gosteh dodobra pretresli KUD Channel Zero, se tokrat vračamo v petek 26.10. Od nazadnje, ko smo gostovali, se je marsikaj spremenilo in čas je, da to delimo z vami. Ni zrastel le BORIS Sound System, zrastla je tudi založba Massive! Sound records v sklopu Massive! platforme. Za nami sta tudi dve izdaji pod katere sta se podpisala Satta Yard Sound System (Ambush) in Koneski (The Story of Dying Sun), ki bo tudi tokrat prisoten in bo pokazal svoje veščine na prej omenjenemu Boris Sound Systemu, sistemu, kjer se njuna glasba trenutno sliši najbolje. Kjer je Boris, je tudi The Wild Citizen in tudi tokrat ne bo nič drugače. Za pravo poslastico bo za vse glasbene sladokusce poskrbel naš tokratni gost Higher Meditation, ki bo le za nas priletel iz Velike Britanije. Pričakujte surovo dozo bass glasbe, kjer bodo prevladovali dub, steppas, digital žanri, ne gre pa seveda brez roots reggae glasbe, skratka pričakujte pravi Sound System praznik!

Higher Meditation je francoski producent, ki pa živi v Leicesterju (Velika Britanija), kjer producira in miksa svojo glasbo v Vibronics Studiu. Za kako vplivnega producenta gre, govorijo dejstva, da njegovo glasbo vrtijo Sound Systemi, kot so King Shiloh, Iration Steppas, Channel One, Blackboard Jungle in mnoga druga priznana imena System glasbe. Vse to, kljub temu da njegova prva izdaja datira šele v leto 2016, ko je za Skank O'clock izdal 12" King of Glory/From Near or Far. Prav kmalu pa lahko pričakujemo novo vinilno izdajo za prihajajočo založbo Roots Youths Records. Navdih za glasbeno ustvarjanje je našel pri legendarnih glasbenikih tipa King Tubby, Jah Shaka, The Disciples, Alpha & Omega in pri Vibronics. Ima prav tako svoj ročno narejeni Sound System, ki ga je poimenoval po sebi in katerega "crew" nastopa in igra "inna King David staylee", kot sam rad poudari.

It has been a while since we organized a party in Ljubljana's venue, known by Monday parties. Your thoughts are correct as Massive! is returning to Dub Lab! Last time we shook the Channel 0 on Monday with help of our friend Naram (NZ), this time we are gonna be there on Friday 26. Oct, with new special guest. Since last time lots of things has developed and it's time we show them all to you. Not only Boris Sound System grew a bit, also a label Massive! Sound records grew on Massive! platform. We have 2 releases all ready, one from Satta Yard (Ambush) and one from Koneski (The Story of Dying Sun), who will also perform this night on a full Boris Sound System stack, a system where our music feels best. As a real treat for your ears we present our guest Higher Meditation, who will fly from UK just for this event. You can expect a proper dose of bass music such as dub, steppas, digital and of course roots reggae music.

Higher Meditation is a French producer, who now lives in Leicester (UK), where he produce and mix his music at Vibronics Studio. Proof of his quality production is that his dubplates are beeing played by Sound Systems such as King Shiloh, Iration Steppas, Channel One, Blackboard Jungle and many more. Inspired by artists such as King Tubby, Scientist, Jah Shaka, The Disciples, Alpha & Omega and Vibronics. His first release was in 2016 on the label Skank O’clock on a 12 Inch (King Of Glory/From Near or Far) and a second one last summer on the compilation FrenchTown Hi-Fi Vol 2 (Whole Lotta Love). He promised new release who will be out soon on Roots Youths Records and will launch his own label in few weeks with a 12 Inch (Land Of Zebulon/Cyan Take It No More). He also owns a homemade Sound System called Higher Meditation on which he and his crew and play inna King David style.
